Ideology 2007 Boriolo Vineyard Chardonnay
|
The Boriolo Vineyard sits atop a knoll in the Russian River Valley where full sun and a cool breeze create the perfect environment for growing Chardonnay. Using the same fermentation and aging as our 2007 Blondie Gone Wild Chardonnay, the Russian River fruit offers a slightly more elegant version of oaked chardonnay. Overall, this is an elegant oaked chardonnay with a brighter fruit forward profile and well balanced acidity.
Nose: Crisp, fresh clove honey, ripe pears, exotic Asian spices with hints of Gardenia and Honeysuckle
Palate: Wonderful transition into the palate from the nose. Rich honey flavors, white tropical fruits and ripe honey dew melon. Tangerines, cloves and vanilla bean complete the elegant, rich, ultra long finish.
