Winemaking –  Located in the heart of Napa Valley, the Oakville appellation (AVA) is a two-mile-wide swath of land renowned for producing world class Cabernet Sauvignon.  This distinguished terroir is also home to other red grapes such as Syrah, Cab Franc, Petit Verdot and Merlot.   The cool mornings and warm afternoon sun on Money Road are the perfect climate for our limited production Syrah.

Tasting Notes:  Packed with flavor and concentration, the Syrah practically jumps out of the glass.  Our 2013 Syrah is a full bodied, expressive wine that is rich in texture with ripe black fruit, a lovely violet hue, aromas of black and blue fruit, and hints of smoke and cedar.  The palate is treated to boysenberry, blueberry, blackberry and barrel spice...A Syrah to be enjoyed with many different foods - think BBQ, lamb, pulled pork.  Vegetarian?  How about some Portobello burgers, grilled eggplant, or falafel?  Yum!

Montreal to New York
Oceania Cruises' Insignia

Mark it on your calendars and in your mobile devices! You are invited to join Bob/Armando Williamson, proprietor of Ideology Cellars and his wife Joni for an unforgettable fall foliage cruise aboard Oceania Cruises' Insignia for an 10-day adventure from Montreal to New York!

Shipping wine during hot weather can spell disaster for wine.  Ideology Cellars prefers and recommends not shipping wines during the months of June – September.  However, if you really can’t wait for cooler weather, we can arrange overnight or 2-day air.  In the case of extreme hot temperatures, shipments may be delayed to protect your wine.
